Discover New Brighton

Your guide to New Brighton, the jewel in Wirral's Crown

New Brighton is a traditional seaside resort located at the Northeastern tip of the Wirral Peninsula at the mouth of the River Mersey. It was once a bustling resort with a Tower, a Pier with a landing stage for the Ferry across the Mersey from Liverpool and an outdoor swimming pool. Like all British seaside resorts the rising popularity of package holidays in the late 60’s and 70’s saw a decline in visitor numbers. However, the locals did not give up and generational family businesses ensured that New Brighton continued as a resort. And now with the British people falling in love all over again with their seaside resorts New Brighton is the place to visit. With the longest promenade in the UK, miles of sandy beaches, traditional amusement arcades, rides and shops, cafes and restaurants, acres of green space, Vale Park and a newly regenerated hospitality and nighttime economy on Victoria Road there is always something to do! This website will keep you informed of everything New Brighton has to offer
